Laura Woo, LPCA
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Professional Summary
Laura is an LPCA in our Richmond location. She received her Bachelor of Arts at Eastern Kentucky University, and then went on to graduate from Northwestern University with a Masters in clinical mental health counseling.
She uses a psychodynamic approach to therapy, talking to uncover how each individual’s life journey has lead them to the present day struggles.
She is passionate about removing the stigma associated with seeking mental support. She has experience working with adolescents and adults, and has a special place in her heart for helping clients who have LGBTQ+ concerns, as well as those who have experienced religious trauma.
"I help individuals gain insight into themselves by validating life's experiences, and creating a positive, judgement free zone to support them."
